Quilting

I charge a flat rate of 3.5 cents per square inch for a pantograph (all-over design) on your quilt.

For custom quilting, prices start at 8 cents per square inch, and vary based on the amount of detail you desire on the quilt.  Contact me for an estimate on custom work.  As a rough guideline, custom pricing falls into 3 categories, shown below. However pricing will vary based on the details. A firm quote will be provided on request before work is begun.

• General Freehand, with minimal ruler work (ruler work is straight lines, stitch in the ditch, or applique to outline) – 8 cents/sq inch
• Detailed block-by-block designs, multiple colour changes – 12 cents/sq inch
• Semi custom – a pantograph center with a custom border for example – starts at 5 cents/square inch, where the border (or set of borders) measures 10″ or less

I take any size quilt, up to a maximum of 120″x150″.  There is a minimum charge of $50 for smaller quilts.

Labels

Custom embroidered labels, up to 6×8″, are available.  Cost is $25 for up to 4 lines, $5 per line after that.  Format is text only.

Basting

Prefer to quilt your own projects, but tired of crawling around on the floor to baste the layers before you start?  I offer basting services for a flat rate of $85 ($50 if your quilt is under 50×60″).
